Don't Be Afraid to Work Hard and Give Value

The reason why a lot of people are scared of giving away a lot of free value

Or they’re scared of doing free work for people

Is because they feel like “Oh if I do this free work for someone, then it’s not gonna come back to me”

Do you see what I’m saying?

So for example,

They don’t wanna give away free valuable content because then they think oh it’s just a waste of time

No one is gonna pay me

They also don’t wanna do free work for people in terms of free service-based business—for example, creating a free thumbnail

Or a couple short-form video edits and things like this

Because they feel “I’m just being used”

How can you be used for a thumbnail or for video editing?

If someone likes your thumbnail and video editing, they’re gonna do everything they can to keep working with you

So you can’t be used

Do you see what I’m saying?

Like it’s stupid to even have that mindset of “I might get used”

You cannot get used

You can only be seen

And then if you’re seen, then you’ve been given a chance

And then there’s a very good chance they’re gonna hire you and sign you as a client

Which is literally your fucking goal

So give away MORE stuff for FREE is my advice if you’re trying to get clients

Right,

Don’t be so stingy like “Oh my God I don’t wanna make this free video edit for someone because what if they don’t pay me”

Well then boo hoo, you spent an extra hour making that video or x amount of time making that thumbnail

Or 10 minutes, 20 minutes writing that e-mail

It’s like you just practice your craft

You just got better and you’ve done some outreach and you’ve just learned the game a little bit more

And now you have a more chance of getting the next client

Like people are just so scared of working hard
