You need to strike the perfect balance between being humble and arrogant.

Let me explain:

When you're talking to a potential business partner or someone who is smart and can teach you something you should be humble

Be a good listener.

At the same time in the back of your mind.

You should be thinking fuck everybody I need to focus on myself.

I need to do what I need to do right now.

If one of your friends tells you to come here. Or your girlfriend says “Oh come round tonight”

and you ditch all your current plans of work

You're a fucking idiot.

You're never gonna make it.

Don’t be a feather in the wind listening to everybody else.

You have to focus on what YOU need to do.

You need to be way way more arrogant when it comes to that kind of stuff

Most of you seriously misplace your arrogance and humility.

You're never gonna get anywhere being too humble or too meek but you're never gonna get anywhere being too arrogant.

It’s a constant balance.

You likely get this the wrong way around

You’re arrogant when you should be humble and humble when you should be arrogant.

There's nothing wrong with thinking okay:

“I'm gonna be a multi-millionaire right? I'm gonna be the man. These people I’m hanging around with. They're pretty lazy. They're not ambitious.

They've got no goals themselves.

They're bringing me down and I need to focus on myself and make myself a better man”

At the same time…

Especially when you’re in the beginning, you need to be extremely open-minded.

There's always someone who can teach you something.

Every single man you meet every single person you meet can teach you something if you listen.

So you need to get better at knowing when to listen and when to be selfish and go about things ‘your way’.
