Losing your parents

The first thing I do every day is check the NEW MONEY group chat.

This morning is saw everyone reacting to this guy who said his mom passed away.

He's trying to get back into Snapchat so he can recover the messages between them.

This is why I'm always preaching about working quickly, working quickly.

I know how he feels.

I lost my dad 7 years ago and it’s always a reminder to me how short this life is

He died at 55

If I die at 55

I only have 31 years left

And I FELT how fast the last year went by

So I ain’t got long left

None of us do.

Do more, do more, do more

It's so fucking true time and time again.

It's scientifically proven.

I lost my dad seven 7 years ago and it feels like yesterday.

This guy I'm not sure exactly when he lost his mom, but I'm guessing it was fairly recent.

All you have in life is just a few moments:

Small moments in time with your loved ones and you need to make the most of it with your family.

You'll want to make the most of it with your future family, your kids and your wife.

You've got to make the most of chasing your dreams, being free and happy, and living abundantly.

You don’t have time to be sat there in fear.

Because one day the people we care about most won't be around.

That is what's so beautiful about life

Everything is temporary.

It might sound like a super stoic cliche by now but…

That's actually what makes it so good that everything is temporary.

Hopefully, it does not happen anytime soon

But the people closest to us will die.

Just like my dad did 7 years ago.

Losing a parent reminds you how short life is and that is why I’m going to be going EVEN HARDER in 2024.
